Toronto Grandmothers Embrace invites you and your staff to Dare to Dine
Dear
Over the past three years, Toronto Grandmothers Embrace has been pleased to host Dare to Dine lunches for staff at many schools in the TDSB and beyond. The response from those schools has been enthusiastically positive.
We invite you and your staff to participate in a Dare to Dine lunch during the new school year.
We will bring and serve a hot lunch to your staff at no cost. We’ll also provide a brief presentation about the Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign of the Stephen Lewis Foundation. All we ask is that staff members consider making a donation to the SLF. Donations of $20 or more will receive a tax receipt.
Dare to Dine is part of an awareness-raising and fundraising challenge of the Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign supporting the Stephen Lewis Foundation.
Funds raised for the SLF support over 300 grassroots projects that are Turning the Tide of HIV/AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa.
Toronto Grandmothers Embrace is a multicultural, non-denominational group of grandmothers and
grand-others, one of 240 groups that make up the Canada-wide Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign. The G2G Campaign supports the work of the Stephen Lewis Foundation. We raise funds, educate and create awareness about the SLF and the African grassroots AIDS projects it supports. We also work to amplify the voices of African grandmothers and the millions of AIDS orphans in their care.
We hope that you will support us in this worthy cause. We look forward to meeting you and discussing when we can provide a pleasant and meaningful event for your staff members.
Sincerely,
